About Our Foundation
The Foundation of the Twinsburg Public Library is a non-profit organization created to provide a link between donors of all types and the Twinsburg Public Library so that established goals of service and programming may be sustained for residents and businesses in the library's service area. The Foundation has the potential of serving as a mechanism for stabilizing library funding and promoting the value of the library within the community. The Foundation is classified as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All contributions made to The Foundation are tax deductible.

Funded re-carpeting of Children's Place and Teen Crossings in February 2021
Paid for new and replacement exterior lighting on the building in January 2021
Gifted new, modern voice-over IP phone system in July 2019
Purchased THE ROOM, a soundproof booth for cell phone calls, in Winter 2018
Generous donations by the Sheller and Crouse families made the purchase of the new audio/visual system and state of the art podium possible in 2017
Provided funds in 2016 to purchase the Mobile Library
Completed the renovation of the original garden and walkway in 2013
Refurbished the landscaping by the main entrance in 2011
Made a sizable donation to the Library in 2010 as a celebration of the Library's 100th birthday in the gift of the Reading Garden and electronic outdoor sign
Sponsors the Library's membership in the Funding Information Network (access the Foundation Center Information Portal)
Funded the Library’s “English for Young Learners” classes, providing a Kent State University instructor to teach the basics of reading and speaking English for children whose primary language is not English
Provides for continuing education for library staff when traditional funding is not available
Encourages voluntary financial support for the Twinsburg Public Library in order to maintain the excellence of the materials and services of the Library
Contributed to Citizens Supporting Twinsburg Public Library
Foundation Board of Directors
A Board of Directors manages and governs the Foundation of the Twinsburg Public Library. The Library Director holds a non-voting position on the board. The Foundation works cooperatively with the Library Board of Trustees and the Friends of the Library in their efforts to support and maintain the excellence of library services to the community.
